How do community and tournament invites work on Skirmz?
Accept a community invite, distinguish tournament and team invitations, and understand why a link may no longer let you join.
Skirmz uses invitations for several different actions. Before accepting, check whether you are joining a community, entering a tournament, filling a tournament team or joining a temporary party. One invitation does not perform all four actions.
Accept a community link
Open the link the organizer shared. If you are signed out, the invite screen asks you to log in first. Once signed in, a valid invite shows the community name and, when applicable, the role it will grant. Confirm with Join; a successful redemption takes you to that community.
Review the community name before confirming. An invite may grant membership in a private group, but it does not grant ownership or management rights unless the invite explicitly includes an appropriate role.
When the invite is unavailable
The invite screen shows an unavailable message when the link cannot be used. Ask the person who sent it for a fresh link. Do not try to repair or guess the code in the URL. If an error appears after confirmation, pass that error to the organizer so they can check the invitation and your membership status.
Tournament and team access
A private tournament can require the organizer's join code. A private team inside that tournament has its own access rules. Being able to view or enter the tournament does not automatically put you on a team. Check the roster after accepting; see Tournament registration.
Party invitations
A party invitation groups players for play; it is not a permanent tournament registration. Accept it through the party invitation notification and check that the party roster contains the people you expect. See Playing with friends.
