How do I register a team for a Skirmz tournament?

Check tournament entry details, create or join its team roster, understand private access, and avoid missing registration with an incomplete team.

Tournament registration uses a roster belonging to that tournament. A party or community membership does not automatically count as a tournament entry.

Check the event first

Open the tournament and read its game, mode, team size, start time and registration status. Check the rules and make sure your teammates can attend. Private tournaments may require the organizer's join code. Opening a tournament link does not bypass that access requirement.

Registration can close when the tournament starts, when its scheduled start time arrives, or at an earlier registration cutoff. Complete your roster before the deadline rather than expecting to finish it during the first round.

Create or join a team

Use the tournament's team controls to create a team or join an available public team. When creating one, choose a name and whether it is public or private. A public team can accept players through its join control; a private one needs the appropriate invitation or team code.

For a solo event, follow the solo registration option shown by the tournament. For a team event, have every player join the same tournament roster. Check the member list, not just the team name or the fact that invitations were sent.

Check roster readiness

The roster must match the tournament's required size. Incomplete teams are excluded when the tournament first starts. Once play starts, teams and seeding lock; do not plan on filling an empty seat after your first opponent appears.

If joining fails, read the error and check whether registration is still open, the team has space and you used the correct private access information. Ask the organizer about an event-specific restriction rather than creating duplicate entries.

Be ready to play

Stay available around the start and respond to match check-in. Reading the bracket explains byes and advancement; the tournament overview explains the two elimination formats.
