How do I find and join a community on Skirmz?
Find a Skirmz community, understand public and private access, join as a member, and troubleshoot missing chat or invite-only access.
A community brings together a group of players, its game queues, events and competition history. Joining a community is different from registering for one of its tournaments.
Choose a community
Open the community browser and look for a group that plays your game. Open its page, read the description and rules, and check its games and events. A listed game does not guarantee other players are currently queuing, so an organized game night can be a better first visit than an empty queue.
Join a public community
Sign in and use the community's Join control. A guest view can show information about the group without making you a member. Once the join succeeds, the community becomes part of your joined communities and you can use member features permitted by its settings.
Community chat and voice require membership. Opening a public page, receiving its URL or being friends with a member does not by itself grant access to those conversations.
Private or missing communities
A private community requires an invite. Ask its owner or someone allowed to invite members for a current link, then follow Using invites.
If joining fails, read the error before retrying. An expired invite, a membership restriction and being signed out require different fixes. Sending the community name and the error to its organizer is more useful than repeatedly pressing Join.
Start playing
Read the group's rules before entering its queue. Select one of its available game configurations and join the queue, or register separately for an event. Community membership alone does not reserve a tournament roster slot.
