How do I manage notifications on Skirmz?

Review in-app alerts, respond to invitations, save notification preferences, and understand the current browser push limitation.

Skirmz has in-app notifications for activity such as invitations and messages. A notification tells you something happened; a pending invitation can still require a separate accept action.

Review alerts

Open the notification center to inspect your alerts. A chat notification can open the relevant conversation and mark that room as read. For party or friend invitations, use the action shown for that invitation and then check the resulting roster or friends list.

Do not treat an old notification as the current state of a tournament or party. Someone may have withdrawn the invitation or changed the event since it arrived. Open the relevant page when you need the latest status.

Change your preferences

In Settings, open Notifications. The preference form groups choices by delivery channel and by category: mentions and messages, party activity, friend activity, matchmaking and results, and tips and marketing.

Change the choices you need and press Save. Wait for Notification preferences saved; a visible change in the form is not the same as a saved preference. Reset restores the form's saved baseline before you submit. If saving fails, read the error and retry after the connection is available.

Browser push and email

The Push control is disabled and says browser push is not available yet. Enabling notifications in your browser alone does not add that feature. The form includes email preferences, but a preference is not a guarantee that every kind of activity sends an email.

For a scheduled match, keep Skirmz open and watch its check-in rather than relying on an email arriving before a short timer ends. Password reset and activation mail are account-access flows; use the account guide when those messages are missing.
