How do friends and profiles work on Skirmz?
Find players, manage incoming and outgoing friend requests, start a conversation, and distinguish your profile from account settings.
Friends help you reconnect with players across matches and communities. Friendship is separate from a community role, party membership or tournament roster.
Find and add a player
Open the player's available actions, for example from a party member, and choose Add Friend. Check the identity before sending a request, especially when names look similar. A sent request remains pending until the other player accepts it; it does not immediately make you friends.
Use the incoming requests view to accept or decline invitations from other players. The outgoing view lets you see requests you have already sent and cancel one you no longer want to keep open. If a request is already pending, repeatedly sending it is unnecessary.
Message or invite a friend
Use the player's message action to open a direct conversation. The party invitation action is separate: the friend must accept before joining your current group. Check the roster before you queue together; see Playing with friends.
Removing a friend changes that social connection. It does not remove them from a shared community or rewrite a tournament team. Use the controls for the specific group when that is what you intend to change.
Profile and account settings
Your profile shows your player identity and activity. Open a player's profile to check whom you are interacting with. Use your own profile and its available edit controls for presentation details; sign-in credentials and security belong in account settings.
Never put login codes or other private recovery information in a profile, message or community post. If you cannot sign in to reach settings, follow Account recovery instead of asking another player to edit your account.
