Privacy Policy

Last Updated: 2026-09-23
Effective Date: 2026-01-05

This Privacy Policy describes how Skirmz (“Skirmz,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses personal information in connection with your access to and use of the Skirmz service (the “Service”). Skirmz is operated by Predevelopment Group LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company.

This Policy applies when you access or use the Service, including when you create an account, participate in matches or tournaments, use chat or social features, interact with advertisements (if applicable), or otherwise engage with Skirmz.

For purposes of this Policy, “personal information” or “personal data” generally means information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with you.

1. Information We Collect

We collect personal information in connection with providing and operating the Service. The categories of information we collect depend on how you interact with the Service and which features you use.

Information we collect may include account identifiers such as usernames and email addresses; authentication, session, and security data; IP address and other device or browser information; chat messages and social interactions; match history, rankings, and gameplay-related activity; moderation, abuse, or safety reports; analytics and usage information; and advertising interaction data if advertisements are displayed on the Service.

2. Information You Provide to Us

You may provide personal information directly to us when you create or manage an account, set up a profile, communicate with other users through chat or social features, submit reports or moderation complaints, contact customer support, or otherwise interact with the Service.

Any information you choose to submit through the Service may be visible to other users or processed by Skirmz in accordance with this Policy and the Terms of Service.

3. Information Collected Automatically

When you access or use the Service, we may automatically collect certain information about your device and usage. This may include your IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser characteristics, session identifiers, security-related data, and information about how you interact with the Service, such as pages viewed, features used, and timing or duration of activity.

This information is collected to operate the Service, maintain security, understand usage patterns, and improve functionality.

4. Information From Third Parties

If you choose to authenticate through a third-party provider or connect Third-Party Services, we may receive information from those providers. The information we receive depends on the provider, your settings with that provider, and the permissions you grant, and may include an account identifier or basic profile information.

Third-party providers process information in accordance with their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review those policies before connecting such services.

5. How We Use Information

We use personal information to provide, operate, and maintain the Service; to authenticate users and manage accounts; to maintain security and prevent abuse, fraud, cheating, or unauthorized activity; to enforce our Terms of Service and community rules; to analyze usage and improve features and performance; to communicate with users; to display advertisements where applicable; and to comply with legal obligations.

We may also use information to detect, investigate, and respond to security incidents, violations of our policies, or other harmful or unlawful activity.

6. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances.

We may share information with service providers that assist us in operating the Service, such as hosting, storage, email delivery, customer support, analytics, security, and infrastructure providers. These providers process information on our behalf and are authorized to use it only as necessary to provide services to us.

We may disclose information to authentication providers when you choose to sign in through Third-Party Services.

If advertisements are displayed on the Service, we may disclose limited information to advertising partners for purposes such as ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention, subject to applicable law and consent requirements.

We may disclose information to legal, regulatory, or safety authorities where we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable law, enforce our Terms, protect the rights, property, or safety of Skirmz, our users, or others, or to investigate suspected fraud or security issues.

We may also disclose information in connection with a corporate transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, or sale of assets.

Finally, we may disclose aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

7. Advertising and Targeted Advertising (If Applicable)

Where applicable, certain privacy laws treat some advertising-related disclosures—such as sharing identifiers with advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising—as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, even if no money is exchanged.

Where required by law and where applicable, you may have the right to opt out of such processing. You may exercise applicable rights by contacting us at privacy@skirmz.com.

Skirmz may show advertisements served by Google. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to Skirmz and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to Skirmz and other sites on the Internet. We load Google's advertising technologies only after you accept all cookies in our cookie preferences. You can change that choice at any time using the Cookies link in the footer of our home page or in Settings > Privacy. You may also opt out of personalized advertising through Google's Ads Settings or at www.aboutads.info. To learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

8. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service, maintain security, and support functionality. Some cookies are strictly necessary and cannot be disabled. Other cookies may be used for analytics or advertising where permitted by law.

Additional information about our use of cookies is available in our Cookie Policy.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. Retention periods vary depending on the type of data, how it is used, and applicable legal or operational requirements.

For example, we may retain account and authentication information while an account remains active, security logs for limited periods to detect and prevent abuse, and moderation records as needed to enforce rules and protect users. Data may persist in backups for limited periods.

10. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, delete, or correct your personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; or to opt out of targeted advertising where applicable.

Requests to exercise these rights may be submitted to privacy@skirmz.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and certain rights may be subject to legal limitations or exceptions.

11. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of sixteen (16), and Skirmz does not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age.

If you believe that a user under sixteen (16) has provided personal information through the Service, please contact us, and we will take appropriate steps to address the issue, including deleting the information where appropriate.

12. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.

You are responsible for helping protect your information by maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and promptly reporting any suspected unauthorized activity.

13. International Use

Skirmz may be accessed from many countries. If you use the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your personal information may be processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where Skirmz or its service providers operate, which may have data protection laws different from those in your jurisdiction.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Policy.
